Second time I have been amazed with technology today! This is a clever ad for a mini. The magazine has a bold black and white pattern of circles. You go to a web page (in German), switch on your webcam and hold the magazine (or a print of the pattern from the web site) in front of the webcam. From the position of the magazine, the web page will show a 3D computer rendering of the mini as if it were sitting on the page. As you move the page, the car is re-rendered in real time and shown in the correct perspective. Unfortunately seems this only works with Internet Explorer which I don’t use, but what a lovely idea.
